Willy Johnson Foundation Empowers Etsako West Youth and Caregivers with Startup Kits

In a collaborative effort with the Association of Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH), the Willy Johnson Foundation has launched a USAID-sponsored initiative to empower adolescents and caregivers who have completed vocational training in Etsako West Local Government Area.

Iyamah Nurudeen, Chief Press Secretary, Office Of The Executive Chairman, EWLG, confirmed that the program focuses on providing startup kits and training to boost economic empowerment and alleviate poverty in the region.

Chairman Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri hailed the distribution of empowerment kits as a milestone towards improving the livelihoods of vulnerable populations.
 Beneficiaries received sewing machines, hairdressing equipment, and essential supplies to start their own businesses.

Representatives from the Willy Johnson Foundation and ARFH outlined their selection process, emphasizing a commitment to identifying individuals keen on economic self-improvement. 

The program not only equips beneficiaries with tools but also offers training and mentorship for sustained success.
