Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) is gearing up for a significant move to its permanent site in Akwete-Akpa, according to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Innocent Ujah. During an impromptu visit to the site.
Prof. Ujah commended the progress made so far but urged contractors to accelerate their efforts to meet the target date, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high construction standards.
James Onogwu, Coordinator of Information, Publication, and Public Relations at FUHSO, provided insights into the university's ongoing developments.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that the university's transition to its permanent location is a priority, stating that based on current progress, the move is expected to be completed before the close of 2024.
Among the facilities inspected during the visit were the College of Medicine, administrative buildings, departmental structures, student accommodations, and residential quarters for university officials.
