The African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) Niger State Chapter is to embark on sensitization and enlightenment programs across some selected girls secondary schools in Niger State, the chairperson of the association in the state Hajiya Uma Mohammed has disclosed.
She said the sensitization program is aimed at informing the students the important of guiding and protecting themselves against all forms of sexual molestation and any other voilence against girlchild in the state.
In an interview with Journalists in Minna Wednesday, Hajiya Uma Mohammed explained that the sensitization program has become imperative as a result of the unprecedented cases of sexual molestation and harrasment being carry out against secondary girls in some girls schools in Niger State.
