Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has commended Alhaji Aliyu Bello, the Chairman, Nasarawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) for distributing wrappers, food items and money to vulnerable women across the 13 Local Government Areas of the State in the Spirit of Christmas.
The Speaker gave the commendation during the distribution of the wrappers, food items and money to the women at Aliyu Bello's residence in Lafia today.
Speaker Jatau said that the gesture would improve on the standard of living of the women during and after Christmas.
The Speaker urged the women not to sell the items but to use them to change in their lives positively.
" I want to commend Alhaji Aliyu Bello, the Chairman of our great party, APC for this gesture.
" As the gesture will go a long way in improving on the standard of living of our women and their family members," he said.
Jatau assured the APC Chairman of his support to his NGO " Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation" to succeed.
He called on the women and the people of the state to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule, APC and other leaders to succeed.
