Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has felicitated with the Christian community in Nasarawa state on the commomeration of this year's Christmas celebration.
This was contained in a statement signed by, Governor Abdullahi Sule,Special Adviser (SA) on Media and Publicity, Doctor Nawani Aboki and copy made available to our correspondent in Lafia.
Governor Sule described the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes love, forgiveness, kindness, tolerance, grace, humility, nothing that it is a reflection of generosity and reconciliation to humanity.
He tasked Christians to use the celebration to practice the good virtues of Jesus Christ by sharing love with faith and remain prayerful, respect for leaders to enable them overcome the difficulties of the present time.
Gov. Sule urged the Christian faithful to use the period for sober reflection and adopt the lessons learnt before, during and after Christmas celebration in their daily activities, advising them to support the needy considering the economic situation of the country.
He called on people to live together in peace and unity and shun anything capable that of causing unease and inconveniencing the realisation of the essence of Christmas celebration.
