Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has paid a condoled visit to, Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) in the March 18 general election, over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Sa'ida Abdullahi Maidoya.
This was contained in a condolence message by Governor Abdullahi sule through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Nawani Aboki and issued to journalists in Lafia.
According to, Governor Sule, said Sa'ida Abdullahi has contributed immensely by empowering women and youths during her lifetime, noting that the gesture and legacy will not be easily forgotten.
He described Sa'ida as a peacemaker, philanthropist and mentor of to many women in the state, adding that her death is a great loss not only to the family but the state as a whole.
Governor Sule, also called on the family to take her demise as an act of God as every mortal will be tested with death at anytime.
He prayed Allah to grant her Aljannatul Firdausi and console the family.
