SPEAKER ABBASS DISTRIBUTES 500 BIKES TO ALMAJIRIS SCHOOLS' TEACHERS

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Dr Abbass Tajuddeen,GCON, Iyan Zazzau has flagged off distribution of 500 Motorcycles to Islamic Scholars in his constituency, Zaria Local Government area of kaduna State under his empowerment scheme.
Speaking at the flag off of the distribution held on Saturday at Nuhu Babajo Stadium in zaria city, the Speaker said understand 500 Head Teachers of the Islamic conventional School would benefit from the intervention but in the subsequent distributions a tatal number of 1500 Scholars would benefit which the total to 2000 teachers.
He pointed out that the idea of assistance the Almajiri Teacher was aimed at easy their transportation problem.
"I have fashion for Teachers because, i thought in Primary Schools for sometime and higher Institution as such i consider my self teacher
Dr Tajuddeen said previous more than 5,000 Primary and Secondary School Teachers given Motorcycles to ease their transportation problem.
Our Correspondent reports that prior to the distribution of motorcycles the speaker inspection the ongoing constituency projects at kofar Gayan where he inspection the construction of FCE, zaria, College of Health Technology, college of veterinary health.
He also ground breaks the construction of 60 bed space female hostel and construction of Roads at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital's of Nursing at Tudun Wada, Zaria and kaura in Zaria city respectively.
However from now in 2 weeks intervals he would in Zaria for various intervention to his constituents.
