APM Chairman Urges Support for IPAC Secretariat, Says Project Will Unite Political Parties in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Dr. Mohammed Suleiman Auwal, has expressed optimism that the proposed Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) permanent secretariat will unite political parties in the state and strengthen democratic engagement.
Dr. Auwal said the project would bring political parties together as one family, irrespective of their ideological and political differences.
The APM chairman commended the IPAC State Chairman, Hon. Danlami Muhammed Musa, for initiating what he described as a “gigantic and laudable project” aimed at benefiting political parties and the people of Nasarawa State.
He urged political parties, government officials, corporate organisations, philanthropists and other well-meaning individuals to support the project to ensure its successful completion.
According to him, a befitting IPAC secretariat would provide a permanent platform for dialogue, cooperation and peaceful political engagement among political parties and stakeholders.
He added that the project would contribute significantly to the consolidation of democracy and peaceful political participation in Nasarawa State.
Stakeholders Rally Support for IPAC Project
Speaking at the fundraising ceremony, IPAC State Chairman, Hon. Danlami Muhammed Musa, commended Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for his support for democratic institutions in the state.
Musa also appreciated traditional rulers, political party leaders, philanthropists, captains of industry and other stakeholders who attended the ceremony and demonstrated their commitment to the project.
He acknowledged the contributions of the fundraising and planning committees, particularly Hon. Adeno Sabo Adeno, as well as security agencies, members of the media and other stakeholders whose efforts contributed to the success of the event.
The IPAC chairman appealed to individuals, organisations and other stakeholders to contribute generously towards the construction of the permanent secretariat.
He described the proposed secretariat as an investment in the democratic future of Nasarawa State.
“Let's record that in 2026, we laid the foundation for a stronger democratic future in Nasarawa State,” Musa said.
