Eid-el-Fitr: Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates Muslims, Urges Prayers for Nation’s Peace and Leadership Success

As Muslims across Nigeria prepare to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a goodwill message issued through his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, the Speaker congratulated the faithful for their spiritual devotion and sacrifice throughout the holy month.
He called on Muslims to sustain the virtues of Ramadan by offering fervent prayers for the continued peace, unity, and development of the country and Nasarawa State in particular.
Speaker Jatau specifically urged citizens to pray for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule, and other leaders at all levels, emphasizing the need for divine guidance in governance.
Highlighting the significance of Eid-el-Fitr as a period following a month-long spiritual exercise, the Speaker stressed the importance of sober reflection, love, understanding, selflessness, and sacrifice as essential values for national cohesion and prosperity.
The Speaker, who is the number three citizen in the state, further encouraged believers to strengthen their relationship with God and promote harmony with fellow citizens, particularly by extending support to the less privileged to foster inclusiveness in society.
He also called on all residents to remain law-abiding and committed to constituted authorities.
Speaker Jatau wished Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
