A former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Lafia Central, Hon. Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi, has held a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agyaragu Tofa Ward, Lafia Local Government Area, to boost participation in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise.
The meeting, which brought together party executives, ward leaders, youth and women representatives, as well as other key grassroots stakeholders, focused on strategies for mobilising members and prospective supporters to actively key into the digital registration process.
In a statement signed by the Media Team of Hon. Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi, the former lawmaker described the e-registration exercise as a strategic move aimed at strengthening the APC’s internal democracy, enhancing data integrity and positioning the party for sustained electoral success.
According to the statement, Angibi stressed that the exercise should be seen as a collective responsibility of all party stakeholders, particularly at the grassroots level.
“The APC e-registration is not just an administrative exercise; it is a pathway to building a stronger, more inclusive and technologically driven party,” the statement quoted Angibi as saying.
He called on stakeholders in Agyaragu Tofa Ward to intensify mobilisation efforts and ensure that every eligible party member is duly captured in the digital register.
The statement further noted that ward leaders at the meeting commended Angibi for his continued grassroots engagement and pledged their full support towards ensuring wide participation in the e-registration exercise.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by stakeholders to deepen sensitisation and mobilisation across all polling units in the ward to guarantee a smooth and successful APC e-registration process.
