The Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Baffa Bichi, of his duties. Similarly, the Chief of Staff to the Government House, Alhaji Wada Sagagi, has also been removed from his position as part of a major cabinet reshuffle initiated by the Governor.
Other officials affected by the shake-up include Hon. Ibrahim Jibril Fagge, Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko, Baba Halilu Dantiye, Shehu Aliyu Yammedi, and Abbas Sani Abbas.
In a statement released this evening by the Governor's spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, it was revealed that several commissioners have been reassigned to different ministries. Among the key changes, the Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Higher Education.
