The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has responded to allegations of incorrect figures being entered into polling unit result sheets during the ongoing Edo State Governorship election.
In a statement posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, INEC acknowledged that this is the second complaint they have received out of a total of 4,519 polling units involved in the election.
INEC has assured the public that they will immediately investigate the issue and take appropriate action if any infractions are proven.
