Barely one week after the founders of Agba Foundation empowered Pregnant Women with delivery kits, medical services and bags of rice, the Foundation has again awarded scholarship to Indigent students and donated essential medical equipment worth hundreds of Millions of Naira to Communities in Benue State.
The founder of Agba Foundation, Pharmacist Dr. Emmanuel Agba who made the distribution noted that the gesture was part of about the Foundation's longstanding dedication to supporting education and social welfare initiatives in Benue State.
He stated this as the Agba Foundation hosted a celebration and empowerment event in Konshisha Local Government Area of the State, where he announced the award of scholarship to Primary School children in Konshisha and the empowerment opportunities for members of the Community.
He also announced the donation of Medical equipment to St. Joseph Maternity and Health Centre, in Korinya City, emphasizing the Foundation's commitment to improving healthcare access for the community.
The event was observed to mark the birthday of the founder of Agba Foundation, Pharmacist Dr. Emmanuel Tyohemba Agba, PhD, held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Korinya City.
Reverend Fr. Vitalis Agber presided over a special mass during the event, while Very Revd. Fr. Emmanuel Gyuse Doki in his homily praised Pharmacist Agba for returning to God in thanksgiving.
Rev. Fr. Doki particularly, commended Dr. Emmanuel Agba and the Foundation for their commitment to helping humanity through compassion and community service.
Our Correspondent reports that the highpoint of the celebration included the award of scholarships to Primary School children in Konshisha Area Council, and the distribution of medical supplies as well as empowerment opportunities for youths in the Community.
Dignitaries at the occasion expressed gratitude for the Foundation's generosity and pledged their support for its future initiatives.
The event highlighted the Foundation's ongoing contributions to the well-being of the people in Benue State.
