The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has successfully concluded the divisional playoffs for the 2023/2024 State Football League, moving one step closer to selecting representatives for the upcoming Nigeria Nationwide League (NLO) 2 zonal qualifiers.
In a statement by the Chief Executive Officer of the State Football League, Wale Joseph, it was revealed that the divisional winners will now face off in the highly anticipated Super 5 tournament.
The competition, which will follow a round-robin format, will determine the top two teams that will represent Lagos State at the NLO zonal finals scheduled for September 20-28 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The teams that emerged victorious in their respective divisions are Bucknor FC (Ikeja DFA), Young Stars FC (Badagry DFA), Adosag FC (Ikorodu DFA), Okaka FC (Lagos DFA), and Ighalo FA (Epe DFA). These teams will now battle it out for the prestigious opportunity to represent Lagos State on a national stadium.
