The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested two individuals involved in an employment scam, with a manhunt underway for the principal suspect.

Emmanuel Michael, 42, a private security guard in Abuja, and Jerry Aruwa, 47, from the Kabusa area of the Federal Capital Territory, were apprehended in connection with the fraudulent scheme.

The suspects are accused of conspiring with Kyari Nehemiah Daniel, currently at large, to defraud unsuspecting individuals of ₦11,792,000 under the false pretense of securing employment in the Nigeria Customs Service.

Five fake appointment letters from the Customs Service were recovered as evidence.

Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu Nadada, has ordered an intensive search for Daniel and urged job seekers to follow proper channels when seeking employment to avoid falling victim to such scams.

The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to track down the remaining suspect.
