Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has condemned the brutal killing of Hassan Yahaya Egwa, the State Coordinator of the Fadama III project.
In a statement signed by Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Governor Sule expressed deep shock over the tragic incident, describing the late Egwa as a dedicated and selfless individual who made significant contributions to improving the lives of the people through the NG-Cares programme.
During a condolence visit to the deceased's residence in Lafia, Governor Sule lamented the loss of a brilliant and committed young man whose positive impact on society will be sorely missed.
He noted that Egwa's dedication and pleasant demeanor had left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
In response to the killing, the governor has directed security agencies in the state to carry out thorough investigations to track down and bring the perpetrators to justice. "Criminality has no place in our society," Governor Sule stated, emphasizing the government's unwavering commitment to ensuring the security and welfare of its citizens.
Governor Sule also urged the family, colleagues, and friends of the deceased to find solace in the many contributions Egwa made to society. He offered prayers for Allah to grant the late Egwa's soul eternal rest in Jannat Firdausi.
