Nasarawa Justice Commissioner Charges Karu APC Ward Exco on Loyalty, Grassroots Mobilisation

The Karu APC Ward Executive Committee, led by Salisu Iliyasu, has called for greater inclusion of grassroots members in the activities and decision-making processes of the party.
The Ward Executive Committee made the call during a meeting with Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Isaac Danladi, Esq., where it raised concerns over the alleged failure to carry ward executives along in some party activities.
The committee urged party members to disregard gossip, rumours and false information capable of causing division within the party.
It also called for stronger grassroots mobilisation and urged party leaders to ensure that members at the grassroots are adequately carried along in government and party programmes.
The Ward Exco further appealed for transparency in the distribution of palliatives, urging relevant authorities to make communities aware of the sharing formula and the beneficiaries of such interventions.
It also called for the inclusion of non-indigenes residing in the area, stressing that they should be carried along in programmes and opportunities meant for residents.
Responding, Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Isaac Danladi, Esq., said that if party members were not being carried along at the ward level, it could be attributed to poor leadership on the part of the ward chairman.
Danladi attributed the movement of some people away from the party to what he described as ignorance and lack of appreciation for the efforts of the party and its leaders.
He emphasised that stakeholders remain strategic to the political movement and urged them to continue working together to strengthen the party at the grassroots.
The Attorney General further called on party members to remain loyal, committed and united, stressing the need for discipline and collective responsibility in advancing the interests of the APC.
