A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Kokona East Constituency, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has distributed 20 brand new motorcycles to constituents across Kokona, Keffi, and Karu Local Government Areas as part of his sustained empowerment programme.
The distribution, which took place on Saturday in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area, is aimed at easing transportation challenges and stimulating economic activities among beneficiaries.
The lawmaker, who also serves as Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business, said the initiative reflects his unwavering commitment to improving the living conditions of his constituents and delivering purposeful representation.
He explained that beneficiaries were selected without prior notice to ensure fairness, transparency, and to guarantee that only those in genuine need benefited from the gesture.
“This latest empowerment follows a similar intervention in February where over 25 motorcycles, sewing machines, cash support, and a Peugeot 206 car were distributed to constituents,” he said.
Ogazi further disclosed that between January 2026 and now, his interventions have included the distribution of over 50 motorcycles, drilling of 13 boreholes across communities, and empowerment programmes targeting youths, widows, and elderly women irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.
Reaffirming his dedication, the lawmaker assured constituents of continued people-oriented representation.
“I am a man of my word. The trust you have placed in me is sacred. I will not let you down. Service is not a do-or-die affair, and I remain committed to prioritizing your needs at all times,” he stated.
He emphasized that the resources used for the empowerment belong to the people, noting that public funds must always be directed toward improving citizens’ welfare.
Beneficiaries and stakeholders at the event commended Ogazi’s consistent outreach, describing him as a responsive and impactful leader.
They pledged their support for his aspiration to represent Keffi, Karu, and Kokona Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives come 2027.
APC chairmen from the three LGAs also lauded the lawmaker’s performance, stating that his track record distinguishes him among other aspirants and demonstrates his capacity for higher responsibility.
The event attracted prominent personalities, including traditional rulers, political stakeholders, the Akimin Garaku and Akimin Basa, APC officials, women leaders, and other government functionaries, underscoring the widespread support for the lawmaker’s initiatives.
