KMT Submits Governorship Nomination Forms at APC Secretariat
Says No Consensus Reached, Reaffirms Commitment to People-Oriented Leadership

The submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms by Yobe State governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah (KMT), at the All Progressives Congress National Secretariat has been formally confirmed in a statement issued by his campaign organization.
The statement, signed by the spokesman of the KMT Campaign Organization, Abubakar Ahmed, disclosed that the aspirant submitted his forms on Monday, accompanied by a large number of supporters who thronged the party headquarters in Abuja in a show of solidarity.
According to the statement, KMT was received by party officials and guided to the office of the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, where the documents were officially handed over for processing.
The campaign spokesman further quoted Tumsah as assuring that his administration, if elected, would prioritize people-centered projects and empowerment programmes aimed at improving the lives of citizens across Yobe State.
On the issue of a purported consensus among aspirants, the statement clarified that no such agreement has been reached, noting that a legitimate consensus must involve all aspirants and stakeholders jointly agreeing and endorsing a candidate through a formal and signed process.
The statement also highlighted that the aspirant was accompanied by members of the Yobe First Movement (YFM), Haskey Forum, associates, and supporters.
It added that the forms were earlier purchased on behalf of Tumsah by the YFM and Haskey Forum as a demonstration of appreciation for his longstanding contributions to human development and community interventions in Yobe State.
