Familiarization Visit: Nasarawa Attorney General Receives New Police Legal Officer
The Nasarawa State Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has received the newly posted Legal Officer of the Nigeria Police Force in the state, CSP Abass Lawan, on a familiarisation visit to his office.
CSP Lawan, who resumed duty in Nasarawa State on Monday, was accompanied by Barr. Danjuma, the outgoing Officer in Charge (OC) Legal, Directorate of Legal Services, Police Force.
During the visit, the new Police Legal Officer paid homage to the Attorney General and sought continued collaboration between the Ministry of Justice and the Police in the effective administration of justice in the state.
Barr. Danladi welcomed CSP Lawan to Nasarawa State and assured him of the ministry’s support, emphasizing the importance of synergy between prosecuting agencies and law enforcement institutions in strengthening the rule of law.
The meeting also featured interactions with key legal officers, including the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Barr. Justina Allu, alongside the outgoing OC Legal, Barr. Danjuma.
The visit marks a significant step towards reinforcing institutional cooperation between the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice and the Nigeria Police Force’s Directorate of Legal Services.
