APC Speakers Elect Nasarawa Speaker, Danladi Jatau, as Deputy National Chairman (North)
Jatau pledges renewed commitment, innovation, stability, and development, thanks colleagues for confidence

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, Ph.D, has been elected as the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the Nigeria APC Speakers Conference.
Dr. Jatau emerged unopposed through a consensus arrangement by Speakers of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across the country during the Nigeria APC Speakers Conference held at the Onomo Allure AATC Hotel, Abuja.
In his acceptance speech, the Nasarawa State number one lawmaker expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the opportunity to serve and appreciated his colleagues for the confidence reposed in him. He described the consensus election as a moment of joy for himself, the people of Nasarawa State, and the state at large.
Dr. Jatau, who is also regarded as the number three citizen of Nasarawa State, assured that he would live up to expectations, pledging renewed commitment to the ideals of the Speakers Conference and national development.
“I will not take this confidence for granted. I promise to work diligently to justify the trust reposed in me by my distinguished colleagues, by the grace of God,” he said.
He further pledged to introduce new innovations, promote stability, and support initiatives that would enhance development in all ramifications across the country.
“I thank God Almighty for this honour, and I sincerely thank my Rt. Hon. colleagues for electing me and believing in my capacity to serve. I will not disappoint you,” Dr. Jatau added.
The election of Dr. Jatau is seen as a significant recognition of Nasarawa State’s growing influence within the APC legislative leadership structure nationwide.
