From Suleiman Abubakar
The Emir of Azara, His Royal Highness Dr. Kabiru Musa Ibrahim, has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare access for the vulnerable in his community by enrolling 50 residents of Azara Development Area, Awe Local Government, in the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme.
The enrollment, facilitated through the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency's (NASHIA) adoption approach, follows the Emir's recent contribution, where he wrote a cheque to cover the insurance premiums for these individuals.
This act underscores the Emir's deep commitment to the well-being of his people.
Speaking on the initiative, the Emir emphasized his dedication to ensuring better healthcare outcomes for his community through the state health insurance scheme.
NASHIA officers, during the enrollment process, highlighted the program's benefits, which include access to quality medical care and a reduction in hospital costs for beneficiaries.
The newly enrolled residents expressed their gratitude towards the Emir, acknowledging the significant relief the insurance would provide for their healthcare expenses.
They offered prayers for the Emir's continued prosperity and long life.
