Nasarawa State First Lady, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, received the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) team at the Government House in Lafia on Tuesday.
The visit was part of AGILE's ongoing efforts to enhance the education and empowerment of adolescent girls across Nigeria.
During the meeting, Project Coordinator Haj Aisha Aliyu Isoga provided an overview of the AGILE project, which is currently being implemented in eighteen states across the federation.
The initiative, set to last for five years, aims to significantly increase the human capital and productivity of women in Nigeria by focusing on educational and empowerment programs for young girls.
