This development follows the validation of their return by the Court of Appeal, marking an end to the legislative stalemate.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang extended a warm welcome to the freshly inaugurated legislators and their principal officers at the Old Government House in Rayfield.

Governor Mutfwang stressed the importance of unity for the benefit of the state.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Mutfwang expressed his delight at witnessing the House fully operational, ready to serve the people of Plateau State diligently.
He commended the members for their commitment to their duties despite previous accusations, affirming the government's dedication to supporting their endeavors.
Furthermore, Governor Mutfwang pledged to provide assistance to the members in enhancing their capacity through training, aiming to facilitate the formulation of effective legislation for the betterment of the state.
The Governor reiterated the need for collaboration among the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary to ensure the security, economic development, and overall progress of Plateau State.
He vowed to lead by example in fulfilling the mandate entrusted to him by the citizens, urging the newly elected principal officers to work closely with the Speaker to address the needs of the people.
In response, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Dewan, affirmed their commitment to fostering a collaborative environment for effective governance.
He introduced the newly appointed principal officers, assuring the public of their dedication to serving the interests of Plateau State.
Additionally, Speaker Dewan announced the extension of the tenure of Transition Implementation Committee Chairmen across the state's 17 Local Government Areas for a period of nine months.
