The Caretaker Committee, Nunku Community Development Association (NCDA) wishes to thank His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, for appointing one of Nunku sons, Dr. John Ali Damina, as a Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.
The NCDA is confident that given his pedigree as a season civil servant, and a thorough bred medical practitioner, Dr. Damina will bring to bear his wealth of experience, on the progress and development of Nasarawa State.
We commend, and appreciate His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule for finding one of the illustrious sons of Nunku Chiefdom, to be worthy of this high ranking appointment.
Indeed this appointment is a fulfillment of His Excellency's promise to consider more deserving sons and daughters of Nunku Chiefdom for upgrade in the State Civil Service, as well as for political appointments in the State.
The NCDA sees this appointment as a milestone in the political trajectory of Nunku people in Nasarawa State, since its creation Twenty-seven(27) years ago. Not until now, successive administrations in the State have always overlooked qualified sons and daughters of Nunku for appointments in the State public service.
We therefore commend His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for giving Nunku Chiefdom a real sense of belonging in the scheme of things in our dear Nasarawa State.
The NCDA is optimistic that this appointment is just the beginning for more of the deserving consideration that should be accorded to our sons and daughters, to contribute their quota in the development of the State.
In conclusion, the NCDA wishes to reiterate its unflinching support and loyalty to the person of His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, as well as to his purposeful, and people oriented administration.
We are certain that come 2027, when the Governor's Second Term will terminate, Nasarawa State shall be better than he has met it.
