The Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA), Dr. Yahaya Bawa Ubam, has called on all eligible residents of Nasarawa State to take advantage of the ongoing enrollment into the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) programme.
Dr. Ubam said the initiative is designed to ensure that no eligible resident is left behind in accessing quality and affordable healthcare services across the state.
He urged citizens to visit the nearest BHCPF-accredited health facility to register without delay, stressing that the programme is aimed at improving healthcare access, particularly for vulnerable members of society.
According to him, the enrollment exercise reflects the state government's commitment to achieving universal health coverage by providing affordable and accessible healthcare services to all eligible residents.
"I am calling on all eligible residents across Nasarawa State to enroll in the ongoing BHCPF programme.
This initiative is to ensure that no one is left behind in accessing quality and affordable healthcare," he stated.
The NASHIA Executive Secretary further encouraged residents to promptly visit their nearest BHCPF-accredited facility to complete their registration and begin enjoying the benefits of the health insurance programme.
