Prof. Abdulkarim Kana Seeks Turaki Keffi’s Blessing as He Joins 2027 Senatorial Race
The Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana (SAN), has officially accepted calls from constituents to contest for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District seat in the 2027 general elections.
Prof. Kana made his intention known on Tuesday during a visit to the first Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu (Turaki Keffi), where he sought the elder statesman’s blessing and support for his senatorial ambition.
Senator Adamu, who previously represented Nasarawa West in the National Assembly between 2011 and 2022, offered his blessings and expressed confidence in Kana’s capacity to deliver quality representation.
Kana was accompanied by a delegation comprising seasoned grassroots politicians, youth mobilizers, and other strategic stakeholders from the senatorial district, signaling a strong coalition ahead of the 2027 race.
